Dr Vishal Patel

We are proud to work closely with Dr Vishal Patel, a consultant neurologist with subspecialty expertise in neurophysiology, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-otology, headache, and stroke. Dr Patel is also highly experienced in administering Botulinum toxin injections for a range of neurological conditions, including chronic migraine and hyperhidrosis.

He completed his neurology training and advanced fellowships in neurophysiology and stroke at Western Hospital in Melbourne and Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. Currently, he serves as the Head of Neurophysiology at Campbelltown Hospital and holds a staff specialist position at both Campbelltown Public and Campbelltown Private Hospitals. He also contributes to the next generation of clinicians as a conjoint lecturer with the University of Western Sydney and the University of New South Wales.

Dr Angelo Jayamanne

We are proud to partner with Dr Angelo Jayamanne, a consultant neurologist with expertise in general neurology, neuromuscular disorders, and neurophysiology. His commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care aligns closely with our mission to deliver timely and coordinated specialist input for our patients.

Dr Jayamanne completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle and was awarded his Fellowship in Neurology through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He went on to complete a PhD in peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain, with several peer-reviewed publications contributing to this important area of research.

He undertook a specialised neurophysiology fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital, where he trained extensively in nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalography (EEG). Dr Jayamanne currently serves as a staff specialist at Campbelltown Hospital and as a visiting medical officer at Hawkesbury Hospital.

We are proud to work with Dr Mihi Abeywickrama, a consultant neurologist with broad clinical expertise and subspecialty

interest in neurophysiology, neuro-otology, stroke, headache, and general neurology. Dr Abeywickrama is committed to providing patient-centred care, ensuring timely and effective specialist input in collaboration with our wider clinical team.

She completed her neurology training across several major Sydney hospitals, including Royal Prince Al

fred Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, and Campbelltown Hospital. This extensive training has equipped her with a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to managing a wide range of neurological conditions.

Dr Abeywickrama currently works as a staff specialist at North Canberra Hospital, and maintains an ongoing affili

ation with Campbelltown Hospital. She is also an active member of several professional bodies, including the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN), the Australian and New Zealand Headache Society (ANZHS), and the American Academy of Neurology (AAN).
