Paediatric Diagnostics

Diagnostics for children with hearing loss typically involve a series of assessments and tests performed by a paediatric audiologist. The audiologist will evaluate the child’s hearing ability and determine the degree and type of hearing loss, as well as any underlying medical conditions that may be contributing to the hearing loss.

Based on the results of these tests, the audiologist can diagnose the degree and type of hearing loss and develop a treatment plan that guides the parent to appropriate professionals. The audiologist will also work closely with the child’s healthcare team to address any underlying medical conditions that may be contributing to the hearing loss. At NeuroAudiology we test kids and toddlers from the age of one year and above.
